Below are our successful adoptions so far, and more to come!
Meet Vador
Vador is a 4 year old staffordshire bull terrier. He is the sweetest dog. Good with all people and other dogs. Sadly he was given up after being bred with the female dog that lived in the home. He was put in the shelter where he had 2 days left to live before I agreed to take him. Adopted! He now lives with a loving family in Schenectady, NY where he has a girlfriend and they are consistenly working with him to ensure he remains a happy trained dog.
Meet Biff aka Chocolate
Formerly named Chocolate, sat depressed in the shelter with a few days left to live. Nearly 2 years old. Now Adopted to a wonderful home in Fort Edward, NY where he lives with 2 other dogs. Now known as Biff. Although he is spoiled, his owner still works hard to give him exercise and leadership daily. She enjoys using her talents to create warm winter clothes for her sweet pitbull.
Meet Dodger
Dodger was rescued from the Brooklyn shelter where he was fostered before finding his permanant home in Greene, NY. He is about 10 months old - a boxer/akita mix. Enjoying his new country home.
Meet Sarge
Misunderstood Sarge. His owners didn't realize he needed daily exercise and walks to keep him occupied and control his puppy behaviors. So he now has a new home in Conneticut where he lives with another dog and is enjoying his life as a bloodhound.
Meet Coba
Coba had a rough life. From a stray in manhattan, to the shelter, to a foster home, back to a shelter type facility. All this pit mix needed was someone to understand he has a lot of energy and a high prey drive. He finally found it. Enjoying his life in Johnstown, NY.
Meet Abe
Never did have a good picture of Abe. Despite that and being stuck in the shelter, this 11 month old American Staffordshire Terrier found a loving home in Massachusetts. His owner gives him lots to do and did his homework on being a proper pack leader.
Meet Bear
To prevent Bear from ending up in the wrong home. This hyper bichon needed some structure. After being trained he developed into a wonderful companion. He found the perfect home with loving children and another dog. They understand and maintain his training to this day. He offers love in return to this family in Greenwich, NY.
Meet Anthony Alabama
From living in a van to being left tied outside a petstore, this American Staffordshire Terrier just couldn't catch a break. Living his life in a cage, he became weak and sickly. He now found a great owner who could spend the time he needed to be balanced. He is now doing wonderful in his new home in Plattsburg, NY.
Meet Riggs
Due to bad breeding practices of puppy mills, this large and strong German Shepherd was no match for his loving family. Through no fault of their own he developed into a very unpredictable dog. He needed someone who could provide more exercise and discipline at all times. He is now in a new home and doing much better. Unfortunitely due to his genetics this dog will probably never be perfect but he is doing very well and living his life with a family that loves him and understands him.
In loving memory...
Below are the dogs watching over us. They brought much happiness to their owners for as long as they could and they will be remembered in our hearts forever. May they rest in peace.
Meet Marla
Innocent Marla left abandoned in an apartment in the city, ended up in the shelter and then rescued where I took her for my training program. She was an already sweet dog but became a very well educated one as well. She is enjoying her new family who love her unconditionally. She now resides outside of Troy, NY.
Meet Doug
Just a nice dog with bad luck. Couldn't find the right match - Doug was misunderstood. Now resides with a great example of a strong leader in Clifton Park, NY and is doing very well.
Meet Marlene aka Marly
A young female Pit Bull. Friendly, energetic and playful. Needed someone who really understood how energetic a pitbull can be and the strong leadership it requires. She found her match in Lake Luzerne, NY.
Meet Spike
A 3 year old German Shepherd. Very sweet and active. Enjoying his new home where he may be learning Shutzhund training in Hanacroix, NY
