Julie has been a dog lover since she was a little girl. Many children play with dolls as a child, Julie never did - she played with dogs. It wasn't until she was 8 years old that she finally got her first real dog, a Bichon Frise from the local shelter. While her family lost patience with the dog, Julie was always able to control him with her calmness. She has always felt a natural understanding of dogs and still does to this day. Right out of High school she discovered people make a career out of Dog Training. What could be more perfect than doing a job you absolutely love?! She recieved her first accreditation in positive reinforcement training. Later a graduate and member of Anthony Jerone's School of Dog Training and Career. Graduating top of her class she was awarded the rare K-9 pin at graduation. Trained by and under Anthony Jerone who has earned numerous medals, awards and recognitions from NY State, and the federal government. Julie has learned every aspect of dog training, canine behavior, and behavior modification for all ages and temperaments. Currently she not only trains owners and holds classes but also rehabilitates rescue dogs. Julie continues to research and is always interested in further educating herself on dog behavior and nutrition.
